love as: a wonder of the world

deep in the ground

my geothermal love

like a geyser

ripples in the undercurrent

and i put up signs

for tourists. you can look

but you can't touch.

you can witness

something this beautiful

but do not jump the fence.

you think feeding the animals

means that they will come back

and you get a pet

but they will outlast

your species. they will

survive nuclear winter.

yes they will come back

but stronger, and not to you.
